The Inch Hotel, Loch Ness, Fort Augustus

We have some great accommodation available, if required, at the Inch Hotel, Fort Augustus – the home and headquarters of Ness Highland Activities.

This beautiful former hunting lodge on the banks of Loch Ness has 14 well-equipped and comfortable rooms that come complete with WiFi, telephones, hair-dryers, tea and coffee making facilities and flat-screen TVs with Free View. All rooms are en-suite and enjoy stunning views over Loch Ness or the hotel grounds.

We are a family friendly hotel and have two suites with connecting rooms at the Inch that are ideal for families. Children under 5 also eat for free in our award-winning restaurant.

Dining is a real pleasure at the Inch. Our restaurant, The Yard, serves a superb Scottish menu using locally sourced produce that is prepared fresh every day, whilst the relaxing bar and lounge has an open log fire and over 60 malt whiskies to choose from.

For guests wishing to do a real Grand Tour of the Highlands and Islands, you’ll find that the Inch makes the perfect holiday destination. We’re only a 45 minute drive from both Inverness, the capital of the Highlands and also Fort William which is regarded as the Outdoor Capital of Britain, whilst Fort Augustus village centre is walking distance from the hotel and is the base for a number of Loch Ness cruises and trips along the Caledonian Canal.

We have a number of stunning walks that start right outside our front door, and our friendly and knowledgeable staff are happy to advise on the wealth of local activities in the area and can recommend walking, climbing and golfing trips for guests, as well as cruises on Loch Ness.
